DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - 14 men linked to a Rock Island gang were sentenced for their roles in a racketeering conspiracy, which officials say included a years-long pattern of violence.
Two of the men were recently sentenced in the conspiracy for their involvement in the Fifth Street gang, according to a media release.
Rasheem Damonte Bogan, 34, was sentenced on Oct. 9 to 27 years in federal prison for racketeering conspiracy and gun charges, followed by three years of supervised release.
Officials said on June 1, 2020, Bogan and seven co-defendants went to Necker’s Jewelers to commit a burglary.
While at the jeweler, officials said the group saw a man they thought was a rival gang member and shot at him, seriously injuring him.
Kylea Dapri Cartwright Jr., 29, was sentenced on Nov. 6
