CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - Carbondale Police issued an alert at 8:41 a.m. that there is a large police presence at the intersection of North Bridge and West Chestnut Streets on Wednesday, November 12.

Police did not say why officers are on the scene, but they are urging the public to avoid the area.
