SCOTIA-GLENVILLE — During its Monday night meeting, the Scotia-Glenville Central School District Board of Education moved closer to closing or repurposing one of the district's four elementary schools.
Though not an official decision, Superintendent Susan Swartz said a committee analyzing the district's options needed to know the "direction" the board was leaning, and, in a vote of six to one, the board said closing or repurposing a school is the best option.
