Police investigating a "violent street assault" in Tunbridge Wells have released images of two people they want to identify. The attack, said to have happened at around 6.55pm on September 19, saw the victim taken to hospital "suffering serious head injuries".
Kent Police said the victim had left The Brick Works pub in High Brooms and reported he was followed by a group of males as he walked along Powder Mill Lane, at the junction with Wilman Road. The Cross Keys Pub, previously referenced in enquiries, now does not form part of the investigation.
"He was then punched in the head and fell to the floor, where he was kicked and possibly cut with a sharp object," said a police spokesperson. Police have been carrying out "multiple enquiries" including an extensive review of potential foot
