Three Connecticut brothers split a winning $2 million Mega Millions ticket, according to the CT Lottery .

The winning ticket was purchased at Stop & Shop on 44 Lake Ave Ext. in Danbury, according to a release.

“The ticket matched all five white balls drawn on Oct. 24: 11, 18, 31, 51, and 56,” according to the CT Lottery. The prize was then doubled with a 2X multiplier.

The brothers each took home roughly $666,666, according to a release.

“So how is it that these three brothers can split $2 million three ways?” according to the CT Lottery. “’Our mother would be upset if we didn’t share it,’ they joked.”
