A.J. Brown doesn't appear to be having all that much fun.

The Philadelphia Eagles ' star wide receiver has mostly kept his mouth shut and done what has been asked of him. Just on Monday night, he had a great block down the field to help spring Saquon Barkley on a long catch-and-run.

But there have been just enough signs for football fans to recognize that this hasn't been Brown's favorite season.

It starts with the fact that he just isn't getting the football as much.

Brown is averaging 3.9 catches per game, which is by far the lowest average he's had since his rookie season of 2019. His 51.0 yards per game is an even lower mark than his rookie season, when he was a big-play
