Bhubaneswar: Odisha is feeling the chill as winter sets in with the month of November not even halfway through.

The mercury dipped across the state on Wednesday evening, with 16 places recording minimum temperature below 15 degrees Celsius, as per the latest bulletin from IMD’s regional centre here. ADVERTISEMENT

Daringbadi, in Kandhamal district, remained the coldest with minimum temperature of 8.5 degrees Celsius, followed by Phulbani (10 degrees) and Rourkela (10.5 degrees).

The minimum temperature was 10.6 degrees at Jharsuguda, 12.4 at Keonjhargarh, 12.6 at Angul, 13.2 at Koraput, 13.3 at Balangir, 13.5 each at Bhawanipatna and Dhenkanal, 14.1 at Sonepur, 14.2 at Sambalpur, 14.6 at Jajpur and 15 at Titlagarh on Wednesday evening.
