The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has sought an explanation from the Fatehabad Deputy Commissioner (DC) in Haryana after the district recorded 28 stubble burning incidents in just two days — November 8 and 9 this year. According to the commission, Haryana has reported 206 stubble burning incidents between September 15 and November 6, compared to 888 during the same period last year.
