The Ohio Department of Transportation is seeking public comments regarding a proposed $31.3 million project to rehabilitate the Robert Craig Memorial Bridge.
The project will upgrade the internal electrical and mechanical components of the structure that is commonly referred to as the Craig Bridge. The project will begin in the spring of 2027 and be complete in fall 2028, officials said in a release.
Construction activities will require the spans of the Craig Bridge to remain upright, in the open position, to maintain the navigable waterway, for up to six months. Closure dates are yet to be determined.
The public is invited to provide feedback on the project, and particularly pedestrian impacts, by Dec. 10. Comments about the project may be submitted by visiting transportation.ohio.gov/
