President Donald Trump was seen spraying cologne on Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, a former al Qaeda terrorist, as he asked him "how many wives" he had.
In a video shared on Wednesday, Trump shows al-Sharaa a bottle of something he calls "men's fragrance" before spraying the substance on himself, the Syrian president, and other men in the Oval Office. Trump met with al-Sharaa at the White House earlier this week.
"It's the best fragrance," Trump insists. "Just take that... and then the other one is for your wife. How many wives? One? Because you never know, right?"
The cologne was likely a bottle of Trump Fragrance, a product sold by the president for $249.
The president was mocked after the video began circulating on social media.
"Trump is working hard to wash off the terrorism smell from his favorite terrorist Al Julani by giving him one of his fragrance bottles!!" Saif Maher wrote.
