Syracuse, N.Y. -- The annual college football rivalry game between SUNY-Cortland and Ithaca College to determine the winner of the Cortaca Jug will be played at Yankee Stadium in 2026.

Nicknamed the “biggest little game in the nation,” next year’s game will be the third time that the Division III football game will be played in the New York City area.

The game will be held on Nov. 14. The kickoff time will be determined later.

A game between the rivals set the Division III attendance record in 2019 when 45,161 fans attended a game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. That record still stands.

The game was held at Yankee Stadium in 2022.

Tickets for the Yankee Stadium game go on sale to the public next week, starting on Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. They will be sold on Ticketmaster
