Agartala, 12 th November 2025 : ICAR–Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT), Kochi, in collaboration with the College of Fisheries, Central Agricultural University (Imphal), Lembucherra, Tripura conducted a two-day workshop on “Transforming Inland Fisheries in Tripura: Harvest to Post-Harvest Innovations” under the NEH Plan.

As part of the community outreach, safety life jackets and first-aid kit were distributed to fisher folk underscoring the workshop’s focus on safety and emergency preparedness during fishing operations.
