FLORENCE, Ky. —

IKEA is opening a new kind of store in Florence, Kentucky, set to open next spring.

The new store, called a Plan and order point, is one of IKEA's new formats, where customers can meet with an IKEA worker to plan and order furniture that may need some design help. Advertisement

The 4,200 store will be located in the Florence Square shopping center at 7735 Mall Road.

At the store, customers can shop for furniture and arrange home delivery or pick up.
