The Department for Work and Pensions has listed five t ypes of people who will not get Winter Fuel Payments. The DWP and Labour Party Chancellor Rachel Reeves has reinstated £200 payouts for millions this year.

But according to the DWP , the first group of people who won't receive the £200 or £300 payment are those who live outside England and Wales.

People in Scotland don't receive the payment, but they may be eligible for the alternative Pension Age Winter Heating payment. In Northern Ireland, people might be eligible for a sum from the Northern Ireland Executive, with eligibility rules the same as those for England and Wales.
