Two people charged in connection with the fatal shooting Nov. 6 at a West Toledo restaurant are due back in Toledo Municipal Court on Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.
Ronald L. Hurst II, 39, and Taylor Raths, 34, both of Oregon, were charged with involuntary manslaughter, a third-degree felony, in the death of Jayson Brown, 22.
Ms. Raths was arrested Friday and booked into the Lucas County jail. She was also charged with obstructing justice, a fifth-degree felony, because she provided false information about Hurst’s involvement in the crime and his whereabouts, according to court records.
Hurst was arrested Sunday afternoon and booked into the jail. The pair were arraigned Monday. Judge Michelle A. Wagner set their bonds at $100,000 each for the involuntary manslaughter charge. Ms. R
