NORTH LOGAN - Many Cache Valley residents honored veterans by putting out American flags and recognized military men and women for their service to the country.

Veterans Day, held annually on November 11, is a federal holiday in the United States and honors military veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States of America. It coincides with Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, which also occur on the anniversary of the end of World War I.

Rocky Mountain Veteran’s Association held their annual Veterans Day Open House on Tuesday Nov. 11, inviting former service members and their families for an informal hot dog lunch.

By 1:30 they had served 130 hot dogs.
