BUENA VISTA TWP, MI — Prosecutors have leveled a criminal charge against a Saginaw woman for allegedly throwing hot coffee on the manager of a local McDonald’s .
Officials issued their warrant for the 48-yaer-old woman on Nov. 5, charging her with assault and battery. The charge is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 93 days in jail and a $500 fine.
The woman is not in police custody as of Wednesday, Nov. 12. Buena Vista Township Police Detective Russ Pahssen said officers have been unable to locate her. He encouraged her to surrender to authorities.
MLive is not disclosing the woman’s name until she has been arraigned in Saginaw County District Court.
The charge stems from an incident that occurred the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the McDonald’s at 3700 Dixie Highway in Buena Vista
