Australia: Foilboarder details his narrow escape from shark attack
A foilboarder was catapulted from the water by a monster shark and sent flying through the air in a horror encounter captured on camera.
Andy McDonald was enjoying a daily surf at Prevelly Beach in Western Australia when he was approached by the big fish at around 5.45pm on November 10. He had taken his foilboard - a type of surf board outfitted with a hydrofoil, water wings that hold the craft out of the water and increase its speed - onto the waves with a wingfoil sail.
