Twelve contractors have responded to Larimer County’s search for general contractors to work on Phase 2 of the master plan at the county-owned Ranch Events Complex.

The “request for qualifications,” which closed Friday, is the first step of a two-stage selection process, which focuses on pre-construction and construction services under a master services agreement.

Portia Cook, strategic communications coordinator for The Ranch, told BizWest on Monday that “no contractor has been selected at this time, as we are currently reviewing Statements of Qualifications and will move into interviews and evaluations next. A shortlist of pre-qualified contractors will be created following that process.
