A new report shows that Alberta remains one of the most affordable provinces in the country for rent.
The National Rent Report, from Rentals.ca and Urbanation, analyzed 60 communities across Canada.
They say that six out of the 10 cheapest cities in terms of home rental costs are in Alberta.
Lethbridge was the ninth-most affordable nationally.
A one-bedroom unit here rented for an average of $1,321 per month in October 2025, falling by 0.3 per cent compared to September.
Homes with two bedrooms fell by 0.7 per cent over the last month to $1,628.
The average cost of rent for all unit sizes in Alberta was $1,691 per month in October. The national average was $2,094.
