Delta Air Lines Inc. Chief Executive Officer Ed Bastian says the carrier's fourth-quarter earnings will take a hit because of the government shutdown that led to mandatory flight cuts. “We had a little over 2000 cancellations. You can’t make that up within the quarter. So yes there was an impact,” he told Bloomberg's Lisa Abramowicz. But Bastian says he expects travel to be back to normal for the holiday season.
