CLEVELAND — Cleveland Browns legend Bernie Kosar is asking fans for their prayers and support as he battles complications surrounding liver failure.
In a video posted on his social media platforms Wednesday morning from University Hospitals, Kosar indicated that due to an infection, he was not able to have a liver transplant last weekend. After experiencing bleeding on Monday morning, Kosar had two "aggressive procedures" on Tuesday and was set for a third procedure Wednesday.
"All the duress right now, I could really use your love, support, and prayers today," the 61-year-old former Browns QB added.

Last year, Kosar told 3News' Jay Crawford that he was in need of a liver transplant and had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
