SPOKANE, Wash. -- If you're lucky, you might get to spot the Northern Lights for the second night in a row.

Another blast of particles from the sun is set to reach Earth on Wednesday, which should keep the planet's magnetic field disturbed. Separate solar storm impacts on Tuesday led to the spectacular aurora that many people around the United States saw on Tuesday night. This image shows a computer model of solar activity.
