SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 12:14 p.m. 11/12/2025] The Savannah Police Department has shared some new details on the shooting that occurred in the 1000 block of E. 39th Street on November 11, 2025.

In a press release, officials say they arrived on the scene at approximately 4:00 p.m. after reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a victim with gunshot wounds to his abdomen and leg.

EMS transported the wounded man to Memorial Hospital for treatment.
