If you’re a YouTube TV subscriber missing ESPN, ABC, and other Disney-owned channels, you may be entitled to a refund.
According to Syracuse.com , the blackout started as a contractual disagreement between Google-owned YouTube TV and Disney. The streaming service claims that Disney is asking for terms that would increase costs. Disney has responded stating that YouTube TV is not valuing its content fairly.
The blackout, which began in late October, has left viewers without major sports broadcasts, including Monday Night Football, and other high-demand shows.
It’s unclear when the blackout on YouTube TV will end.
However, Google is now offering a $20 credit to customers impacted by the ongoing dispute, but it isn’t automatic. Subscribers must claim the refund themselves.
