New Delhi, Nov 12: The Union Cabinet, chaired today by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially termed the November 6 explosion near Red Fort in Delhi a “terrorist incident” planned and executed by “anti-national forces.” In a recently passed resolution during the Cabinet meeting the Cabinet expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and observed two-minute silence in the memory of the victims.

The GoI condemned the attack while terming it, a deliberate attempt to destabilize peace and challenge democratic values of India.The resolution emphasized that terrorism remains a grave threat to national security as well as societal harmony and called for unified and collaborative efforts to counter such acts with resolve and continued vigilance.
