Two car parts manufacturing factories are set to shut down in the UK, after Japanese manufacturer NSK announced plans to axe the locations.

The Tokyo-based company said it has faced "persistent challenges in the profitability of locally manufactured products".

The company said it will "implement all necessary measures to support all circa 350 employees who may be affected".
