ASHEVILLE – UNC Asheville has brought on a firm, HR&A Advisors, to facilitate the formation and administration of a Millennial Campus Development Commission.

The commission was announced in August when the university said it would pause negotiations for a multimillion-dollar development on its campus to continue vetting the project.

The work of the commission is intended to create a process to evaluate potential projects for UNCA’s Millennial Campus properties, a designation that gives universities regulatory flexibility to finance projects and collaborate with industry and the private sector. It allows the university to keep all revenues related to leasing agreements.
