Quarterback Jameis Winston will start for the Giants this Sunday against the Packers with Jaxson Dart in concussion protocol.

Mike Kafka made the announcement before Wednesday's practice in his first press conference since being named interim head coach. The Giants relieved Brian Daboll of his duties the day after the 24-20 loss to the Bears, the team's fourth in a row that dropped them to 2-8 on the season.

Dart suffered a concussion in Chicago, which led to Russell Wilson's first appearance since Week 6. The veteran replaced the rookie to start the fourth quarter, with the Giants leading 17-10 at the time, and completed three of his seven pass attempts for 45 yards while being sacked twice.
