HOUSTON, Texas – A man is dead after deputies said he was found outside an apartment complex with multiple gunshot wounds on Wednesday morning.
Deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 2510 block of Inverness Forest Blvd around 6 a.m.
When deputies arrived, they said they found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff Ed Gnzalez posted an update saying the man was trying to break into his neighbor’s apartment when he was shot multiple times.
The neighbor who shot him has since been detained. It’s not clear if the neighbor will face any charges.
