OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - On this day in 2010, Trader Joe’s said hello to Omaha.

The grocery store’s location at One Pacific Place was its first in Nebraska. Lincoln got one soon after.

Shoppers soon became aware what “Two Buck Chuck” meant. They became familiar with the store’s own branding and unique shopping experience.

The chain began in 1967 and has more than 600 locations nationwide.
