OTTAWA — Canada’s fledgling prime minister is hitting the skies again, and proving himself no stranger to the perks of prime ministerial travel.

In a statement issued Wednesday , the PMO announced that Mark Carney will once again be on a plane, this time to the United Arab Emirates and South Africa later this month.

“ In Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister Carney will meet with the president of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to expand the Canada-UAE economic partnership in key sectors such as energy, agriculture, infrastructure, and AI,” the statement said.

“He will engage with business executives and investors to increase market access for Canadian exporters and attract private capital to build Canada’s export infrastructure.”
