BAY CITY, MI — An Oklahoma woman must repay a five-figure sum she embezzled from a Bay County 7-Eleven she used to manage.
KC M. Miller, 31, on Monday, Nov. 10, appeared via Zoom before Bay County Circuit Judge Jessie Scott Wood for sentencing. Miller in September pleaded guilty embezzlement between $1,000 and $20,000, a five-year felony. In exchange, prosecutors dismissed a charge of embezzling between $20,000 and $50,000.
Wood delayed sentencing Miller until Nov. 2, 2026, effectively putting her on probation. The judge ordered Miller to repay $39,782 to the 7-Eleven store at 3543 Old Kawkawlin Road in Bangor Township.
If Miller repays the debt within the year, she’ll be allowed to withdraw her plea to the felony and replace it with a plea to misdemeanor embezzlement between $200 and $
