The Jackson Police Department is asking for the public’s help as investigators continue to probe a fatal hit-and-run that happened early Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023, near the intersection of I-55 North Frontage Road and Adkins Boulevard.

According to JPD’s Accident Investigations Unit, the victim, Logan Johnson, was pushing a disabled vehicle toward a nearby gas station around 4:00 a.m. when he was struck by a white Dodge Charger traveling northbound. The model year of the Charger is unknown. Police shared a stock photo of a Charger for reference but noted it is not the actual vehicle involved.

Detectives are seeking any new leads, tips, or surveillance footage that could help identify the driver or locate the suspect vehicle.
