OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - Oshkosh Police said one of their officers saw a crash involving a tow truck and a high school student Wednesday morning.
Just before 8 a.m., police said an officer witnessed a crash on W Murdock Avenue and Vinland Street in Oshkosh.
Police said the crash involved a tow truck that was turning eastbound on Murdock from Vinland, and a pedestrian that was crossing the street on W Murdock Avenue.
The pedestrian was identified as a high school student. The student was taken to a hospital for a serious injury.
The Oshkosh Police Department’s Accident Investigation Team and OPD Detectives responded to the scene and are continuing to investigate this crash, the department said.
W Murdock and Vinland Street is currently closed. Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes.
