ROMULUS, Mich. (KTRK) -- What started as a dispute over the sale of a Hummer ended in a shooting that left two men dead in Michigan, authorities said.

Terrance Jermaine Sandles, 46, of Houston, is charged in connection with the murder of two men on Nov. 7, Shelby Township police said.

Shelby Township police learned that three weeks before the shooting, Sandles had reportedly been at the business, arguing and threatening the owner over the $3,000 sale of a Hummer.

"He (Sandles) bought a vehicle...and they had a dispute. He thought it was a lemon. They went back and forth arguing about it, and at a certain point, he just dropped the vehicle off and just left it there," Shelby Township Police Chief Robert Shelide said.
