Knox County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on Maryville Pike on Tuesday afternoon.
The Knox County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to the crash near Apache Trail around 12:30 p.m. Deputies said the pedestrian died at the scene.
Investigators learned the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, and the driver left before they arrived.
Detectives ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information about the vehicle or driver involved to call the KCSO Teleserve Unit at 865-215-2243.
