ONAWAY ― Last week, the story surrounding both Gaylord St. Mary and Johannesburg-Lewiston volleyball was one of triumph as both the Snowbirds and Cardinals snapped district title droughts, added to their respective trophy cases and moved on in the MHSAA state playoff brackets.

If last week was the climax for those stories, this week was the epilogue.
