October 29, 1943 — November 2, 2025 (age 82)

Frederick Morgan Berthrong, 82, of Providence, UT departed this life in peace on November 2, 2025 after a battle against an aggressive form of blood cancer. Fred was an energetic, dynamic leader and innovator in Cache Valley business, church and volunteer activities for the many years he and his family have lived in the area. His legacy of accomplishments and quality of character will be remembered and his adventurous spirit sorely missed.

Fred was born on October 29, 1943 in New London, CT to Doris and Raymond Berthrong, the second of four children. As part of a Navy family subject to frequent moves, Fred learned to adapt to place, people and circumstance. The wide variety of his working career began upon graduation from the U.S. Naval Academ
