Chalon recorded a victory in the fourth round of the Basketball Champions League group stage, beating Sabah away with a score of 89-87.
The match was decided by a three-pointer from Jordan Tucker, scored with nine seconds left. Hassani Gravett had a chance to win it for Sabah in the final possession, but his shot was off target.
The team from Azerbaijan will have regrets: Sabah led the entire game, at one point by as many as 20 points, but Chalon gradually clawed their way back and ultimately managed to take the win.
Tucker finished the game with 23 points and was Chalon’s top scorer. Justin Mutts added 14 points, while on the other side, Keith Jordan Jr. scored 28 points. Still, his excellent performance was not enough for Sabah.
Chalon is now 4-0 and will host Alba Berlin in the fift
