Hyderabad: Karnataka defeated Andhra by seven wickets in the final of the BCCI Women’s (Under-19) T-20 cricket championship final in Kolkata on Wednesday.

Batting first, Andhra scored 119 for nine in 20 overs with V. Setu Sai (45) being the top-scorer while the others struggled against J. Deeksha (five for 21).

In reply, Karnataka achieved the target losing three wickets and 2.2 overs to spare.

The scores: Final: Andhra 119/9 in 19.5 overs (V Setu Sai 45, Deeksha Katragadda 21, J. Deeksha 5/21) ) lost to Karnataka 120/3 iin 17.4 overs (Akshaya Vadde 35, C.D. Deeksha 45 n.o., Kashvi Kandikuppa 31 n.o.).
