The Health Secretary warned that 'Nigel Farage and the Reform Party' is waiting in the wings, as doctors walkout over pay and jobs.

Wes Streeting took aim at BMA leadership during the NHS Providers Conference, in Manchester, today (November 12) launching what could be his strongest attack on doctors yet.

He said that 'there isn't a more pro-doctor, pro-NHS health secretary or government waiting in the wings - there is Nigel Farage and the Reform Party'.

He said resident doctors have had a 28.9% pay rise and he had increased training places as well as making offers in areas such as exam fees.
