RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The Reno Justice Court has launched a multi-track DUI court.

The court will offer four different tracks of varying supervision and treatment for first and second time DUI offenders based on their individual needs.

Washoe County hopes this will reduce repeat offenses. The program aims to serve at least 50 people in its first year.

Participants will work with a dedicated case manager who will provide guidance, connections to treatments and community resources.

Participants will also get regularly drug tested, make court appearances and conduct compliance reviews, as well as be monitored by law enforcement.
