EUGENE, Ore. - A Eugene business is spearheading a unique initiative to support local families and food banks.

Associated Heating and Air Conditioning has launched "Ten Days of Giving," encouraging customers to donate canned vegetables, beans, soups, and other non-perishable food items during service appointments.

"We were contacted by 4J School District and asked if we would host another donation of food. We did a food and clothing drive for them in 2023 so they asked if we would help and contribute again," said Trisha Peterson, general manager of Associated Heating and Air.

Technicians will collect these donations and deliver them to the office, where they will be packaged and sent to local food banks.
