EUGENE, Ore. - An independent police auditor has concluded an investigation into complaints regarding the Eugene Police Department's alleged involvement in immigration enforcement on Nov. 5.
According to City of Eugene officials, the investigation conducted by auditor Craig Renetzky found no evidence of police participation in the incident. The inquiry included reviewing police vehicle locations, dispatch records, radio communications, and visual evidence. None indicated Eugene Police presence at the scene, city officials said.
The auditor's office, which operates independently of the Eugene Police Department, emphasized its commitment to transparency and accountability.
