CHAPEL HILL — With the lights dimmed down inside the Smith Center, Luka Bogavac waited alongside Kyan Evans on the UNC basketball bench as the Tar Heels’ starting lineup was announced before the Radford game.

After hearing the names of Caleb Wilson , Henri Veesaar and Jarin Stevenson , it was Bogavac’s time to step into the spotlight for the first time as a starter.

As Bogavac stood up and walked through a tunnel of teammates, slapping their hands along the way, the Smith Center crowd serenaded him with a sound.

“LUUUUUUUKA!”

With senior captain Seth Trimble sidelined because of a left forearm injury , Bogavac slid into the starting lineup and paced the Tar Heels in an 89-74 victory against Radford on Nov
