RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Safe Embrace , a nonprofit working to provide resources and support to victims of domestic and sexual violence and trafficking, will host its Trees and Lights Soireé on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 6-9 p.m. This year, the annual event is moving to Champagne and Chocolate (550 W Plumb Lane, Reno).

Afshan West, the executive director of Safe Embrace, stopped by Morning Break to invite everyone to this event.

The soirée will feature a champagne toast, gourmet appetizers, craft beverages and an evening program that includes live and silent auctions of decorated holiday trees, wreaths and other festive items. Attendees will also hear stories of resilience from survivors served by Safe Embrace, illustrating how community generosity transforms lives across northern Nevada. Bus
