TOWN OF KENDALL, Wis. (WKOW) — Lafayette County authorities are investigating a semitrailer rollover crash that resulted in a complete road blockage and injuries to both the driver and passenger.

The crash was reported just after midnight on U.S. Highway 151.

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office reported that the driver, a 50-year-old from Burlington, was airlifted to UW Hospital in Madison with life-threatening injuries. The passenger, a 46-year-old woman, also from Burlington, was taken to Upland Hills Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash investigation revealed that the semi, a 2016 Freightliner, left the northbound roadway, struck a median crossover, and overturned across the southbound lanes, causing severe damage.
