The air quality in Delhi remained in the 'severe' category on Wednesday (November 12). Authorities have imposed the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) stage 3 as the national capital is covered with a dense layer of toxic smog.
Delhi schools are conducting classes in hybrid mode up to Class 5 from today amid deteriorating air quality.
An order issued by the Directorate of Education on November 11 said, "All heads of schools of government, government aided, unaided recognised private schools of DoE, NDMC, MCD and Delhi Cantonment Board are directed to conduct classes in schools for children up to Class V in a hybrid mode i.e., both in physical and online mode (wherever online mode is feasible) with immediate effect until further orders."
