ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A teenager accused in a deadly shooting of a classmate near Oak Ridge High School will remain in jail while awaiting trial.

In a hearing on Wednesday, Judge Cherish Adams ruled there was enough evidence for the pre-trial detention of 15-year-old Jacori Redding.

Redding is being tried as an adult on a charge of manslaughter in the shooting death of 16-year-old Pinien Dalmacy.

In Wednesday’s hearing, the state introduced testimony from the lead homicide detective in the case and showed cellphone video taken from a witness moments before the shooting.
